In the entertainment industry, success can sometimes come in how one creates unique ways to reach audiences and grab fans. Its no secret that many successful talents have found success through theater. Theater is an incredible way to gain fans. Imagine a project designed to elevate your profile with audiences and then continuing the opportunity to have them follow you for a few steps into your career. This is what these one night events from The Revolution are all about.
The beginning of a limited journey vision. A chance to grab fans and build the profile of an actor along the way.
As a creator, I was born and raised in LA. Capturing Hollywood and especially creating stars has always been my goal. Theater in Los Angeles has gone through many phases throughout my lifetime. Sadly in 2026, the art form of black box theaters has been cheapened. There was a period of time in the mid 2000s that everyone who thought they were a writer were putting on plays. The play experience in a black box started to receive negative reviews. Plays were no longer appealing. People sat through 2 hours of dialogue without any real plot points, coherent verbiage or delicious twists that really moved the story forward. This is when audiences started to give theater in LA the reputation as a boring experience. Word of mouth spread and attendance to theaters dropped outside of the family or friends of the person creating the play. Then streaming and other forms of 'quick entertainment' came front and center and theater was almost put to rest. The goal of entertainment should not be about reaching just your friends and family, but capturing audiences beyond the circle of your life.
As a visionary, I have created a form of theater with the intent on expansion. Whether expanding the profile of the actor or the story line, its designed for audiences to latch on, lock in as fans and spread the word. Then repeat..
The the shows created under The Revolution are big Theater events. No black boxes here..only mega stages that gives the audience the feel of being in something above the norm. Above the typical
Example:
September of 2023
We created a show called Creatures Chaos. September was considered the preview show. There were four stories in the show that were about 15 minutes long. There was also a short film that elevated the viewing experience. The theater is one of the best theaters in southern California. Huge with an incredible stage. It has housed legends such as Spike Lee, Bea Arthur, Sheena Easton, Art Garfunkel, Melissa Manchester, Ray Charles and so many more. In order to make money from this theater, you have to run it several nights and have substantial ticket prices. I ran it only one night and charged audiences $25 dollars. As result, the return on the evening totaled less than $1500 dollars against 20k to put it up. We had a very nice sized audience that included the traditional complimentary industry tickets to powerhouses such as execs from Sony, BET and Warner Brothers etc. However the mechanics of the situation did not allow a profit. The show cost around 20 thousand to put up (theater rental, crew that comes with the theater is astronomical, advertising, promos, office rental for interview and rehearsal, food, radio spots etc) There was also an innovative (Broadway like) machine purchased for this visuals of this event that added another 25 thousand to the total (even though the machine is considered an investment that can be used for future productions it was pushing the total for this one night past 50k).
Why would someone invest all this money into a production..into actors... only to receive a loss? A vision has to start some where and setting a foundation is where it begins...
The goal after the preview event was to take those individual 15 minute preview stories into a theater in Hollywood and launch a full version under the cover of a one night event. In clarifying: those 15 minute stories are now 90 minute, one night stories. The actors are singled out in the promotion. So let's say you did the 15 minute preview, now the Hollywood one night command performance is ALL ABOUT YOU promotion-wise (and of course the unique story right behind you). This tactic hearkens back to the 90s when superstars were created and they were the focus selling point to audiences more than the movie. Stars were created from this practice such as Will Smith, Clooney, Halle Berry, Julia and many more. If you lived in this era, you remember the star was hyped higher than the film. Often promotion of a movie focused on things such as 'Julia Roberts and Halle Berry made 4 Million for this film'. This was the era of the Superstar that Spielberg famously announced ended a few years back. Now stardom is temporary and stars are disposable. Sadly most artists in LA don't study the business and are motivated by what they see as instant superstardom which is truly rare even though it looks commonplace.
If you look at the Academy Awards 2026..Sinners received more nominations than any film in history. This is at the heels of two men who weren't looking for
instant success, but utilized strategy and maneuvered around Hollywood based off of the cache they built. If you study this art called Hollywood (and I have been a deep study since a pre teen) then you will that when Sinners was first announced, the audiences were more hyped about the fact that these two men were creating something new and original together. Their path had become a stat all on its own. Thirteen years after sitting down at Starbucks by Universal Studios Hollywood, Michael B Jordan and Ryan Coogler have made history several times the world over..
After Creature Chaos in September of 2023, the buzz in the air was full. There was a request for a Series Bible for two of the stories from production companies. Walking into the audience after the show, there were dozens of smiles. Compliments were buzzing. I heard 'We are coming to the next show' more times than I could count. The hype continued the next day blazing from San Diego to Vegas. People were telling their friends and family. Good vibes were spreading like wildfire. Even though there was no profit made from the evening, something occurred that money could not buy: Buzz. Personal witnessed promotion. This alone would bring more people into the seats as we pushed forward in capturing a large piece of Hollywood.
In order for me to continue to rent out these big theaters and create a show with a huge scope, I had to figure out a strategy. It didn't make sense to lose money.
This is when I created the Preview and one night event. It has bee a successful idea that has continued to bring out the power players of Hollywood
And that my friends is how you start a version of a mini buzz.
People ask why I invest in a path like this that is so costly. Last week (first week of April 2026) I hired someone to clean out
a garage that had stuff stored in it for years. Among the debris i found the first casting flier I released in 1996. The way you cast in 1996 is 100 percent different that today. There was no internet like today. On this casting flier there was a keys section that spelled out one of the main purposes of my journey
'To give undiscovered talent a chance to be seen and to make superstars'. This is why. This is my passion!
There are theater companies in LA/Hollywood still booming but not like in the heyday of the 90s. This was when theater was launching stars left to right. Back then actors would pay dues to be part of theater companies. Others would work huge shows for weeks simply for the exposure. There are a few of those left and growing. What I did was remix the whole idea and create a unique extension of this that utilized small and minimum time but offers compelling story pieces.
If you look at teams like Johnny Depp and Tim Burton - Michael B Jordan and Ryan Coogler -Martin Scorcese and Leonardo Dicaprio ---you will see that they changed the entire Hollywood game on their own terms and rode it to unprecedented success. My vision is in that same journey on its own terms...
In closing: We are living in a world where Tik Tokers and You Tubers are finding more success than true, studied actors. Tik Tokers are making millions while true, talented actors are struggling. I auditioned an actor back in 2019. He was good. He didn't find success in acting like he wanted and he became an online food critic. He has gained a huge following earning money that allows him to fly to different states just to try and review their food. There is no studio behind him just his camera and followers. It appears he is living an elevated life passing out money online in bulk. Meanwhile you have an actor who is talented and good looking yet they are struggling doing auditions and engaging in two to three jobs making barely above minimum wage in high-cost-of-living LA. But imagine having a strategy...building a path and making true talent viral? Well that is what I am trying to do...bring true talent back to the forefront. Tik Tokers can have their space but the superstars of tomorrow need theirs as well. That is what I am trying to do ladies and gents...

Huge casts, huge visions, huge studios...
The picture to the right: Different cast. This is one of my favorite personal images ever...after the curtain call the actors triumphantly exit the stage as the large screen behind them gears up for a film that I wrote and directed. Entertaining and giving the audience a big show is the basis of who I am...I've been misunderstood because I create in silent...but the vision is set to be unleashed...
The energy was electric. This show had Warner Brothers, Sony, BET and TVONE in the building among many other industry components. A superb event. What a night.
