Thank you for your submission to the 'MIND CONTROL' project. This project is linked more to a vision than just a short film project (make sure you check out the visionary message below) 

Film your audition on something as simple as a cell phone. Use a reader even if by speaker phone for your best audition reading. Reaction to words is a big deal when viewing an actor's work. 

If you intend on auditioning, confirm on LA CASTING/CASTING NETWORK (they are the same) immediately.

That is also where you will upload your audition by the due date which is  Sunday February 9th 2025 @ 12:00pm (so you can watch Super Bowl lol)

The Plot and project

Plot:  Josh is kidnapped by a mad scientist who turns out to be his best friend's father. His best friend's father is secretly seeking revenge on Josh's entire family.  The mad scientist alters Josh's brain in order to control him and force him to kill his family one by one.

Vision: as a visionary, I am doing a ton of illuminating-purposeful projects this year. I am looking to work side by side with an actor on a few base storyline pitches in the imagery of this project

The Character will be presented in a special, unique and unprecedented live event that will feature their short film on the big stage this spring!

VISIONARY MESSAGE (tis is about separate relationship projects from Mind Control)

In addition to casting a number of projects in 2025, I am also looking for a male,  future superstar to work with on a series of projects that recall the best of collaborations such as Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, David Fincher and Brad Pitt and Michael B Jordan and Ryan Coogler. Read below for more info on this

'If I were to create a star, I would find their acting strengths and weaknesses and build on them. I would strengthen each advantage and disadvantage. I look at Michael B Jordan (actor) and Ryan Coogler (director/visionary) and I am truly amazed at what they have done. NO ONE has done it in Hollywood like they have.  If you really study the business of Hollywood, then you must understand that their union created something unique. A power connection that has generated billions and a unique film curve. Sadly, being a man with a lot of time, resources, funds and a much praised writing skill, I haven't been able to find that one, loyal, talented actor that I can aim towards the stars and turn them into a mega success story. I have auditioned over 80,000 actors (update I reached 100k actors auditioned in January of 2025) and worked with thousands, yet most people these days look for instant success and end up with nothing but a few credits when their journey in Hollywood is over.

 I hope to find the perfect actor this year. We have to click. Friendship is a key element in pulling off something like this to the masses. If you don't like someone or not friends, that will show in the work you two do together. The actor has to identify with my writing and vision. They have to be hungry and humble. They have to be able to handle drama acting with depth and precision.  In whatever I do, I give it my all times 2.  I'll be up sometimes for 24 hours creating for an actor if I was lucky enough to be in Ryan Coogler's shoes and have a 'Michael B Jordan' by my side.  A 'Michael B Jordan' in this example is an actor with a pop appeal, hunger, loyalty and talent that can take your vision to worldwide success.  This idea is something I have dreamed of when I was a kid in the 90s reading and studying those great Hollywood autobiographies from the past where they talked about how legends were made...and I said then and I say it now, I wanna be like that......'      

I recently saw the trailer for SINNERS..another  actor/duo project by mentor Ryan Coogler and Mentee Michael b Jordan. Then I watched the interview below and you could see the chemistry between the two off them. A strong chemistry like that is what leaves a multi billion dollar film trail. Even casual fans recognize that

the connection between Michael B and Ryan as rare, unique and dominating. Read the comments in the links I posted below.  I have preached for years that if you get that kind of loyalty together, you can move mountains. They have moved the stratosphere.  This is what I am looking for...someone with mega star power to rule a piece of Hollywood with.
